Hey Vince
I just bought a new book for you for your birthday. It's about, you guessed it, sex and spirituality, but I think at it's deepest level, it's about what it means to be human. I've struggled with the idea of whether human beings have a purpose in life and I'm not sure. There's too many questions that need to be answered before we can have a fairly accurate answer. Questions about people with mental diseases that cause them to lose much of what we would consider to be human. Things like thought and mind. Is there a purpose to existence?
I went downtown last night and there were all these girls all dolled up in skimpy black dresses. Gorgeous if you know what I mean but to what purpose. To have a good time. What does that even mean? In 10 years, will that reason still satisfy us? In 100 years will we still say it was worth it? What if we look at it in terms of time as infinite stretching both forwards and backwards and sideways?
I guess all things are spiritual. Everything we say is merely physical isn't. Everything we say we lack or have lost is still there.
Show me a glimpse of the true life with your clothing.
