Dying

Is there a way to pray?

I thought I was unaffected by death but as I find that it gets closer and closer, I can't really stand it.

It's the sense that something is very wrong. A deep human condition that should have never come to pass. We are immortals. We were meant to live forever. And so at funerals I cry; I always cry. I feel the pain on the families' faces; that thought that after this procession, we will have to live on without them. And so I've tried to hold it out with a very realistic view of life. It all comes to an end.

So I stop praying...

I mean, there's nothing to ask anymore, nothing to say. All that remains is a sense of "this is the way it's always been". A sense of it happens to everyone. A sense of hopelessness. I mean what is the point of saving them if they will die someday.

So what do I say when I pray...

Do I need to say my thoughts? Do you need to hear them?

You should know by my silence what I think and feel. My compliance to your sovereign will. Do I still need to tell you?
