There was a time in my life where i hated public transportation. I never imagined myself taking it until i went to university and got the u-pass.
I am now beginning to see myself enjoy taking the bus to school. I enjoy being able to relax as i am driven to my destination and i enjoy those times when i have some time to sit on the street before the next bus comes.
What strikes me the most when i take the bus is when i think about my future as a pastor. In the bus i can see who really would be in my church, not just those i would like in my church. Today there were a bunch of spanish teenagers who were loud and spoke spanish, a couple elderly people, people my age, some middle age folk and a couple smelly homeless people.
I think that is what an ideal church congregation looks like: The 99 B-line. Not more people like me. Real people with real problems looking for the real solution. I don't need anymore brainwashed packaged christians, i get enough of that rubbish looking in a mirror
