Loss

I don't usually lose alot of things but this monday I lost two things. I lost my ipod and my DS Lite. I don't even know for sure how I lost them, just in case you were wondering, but that's the way it usually is, isn't it? And these things usually take a while to settle in for me so I wasn't truly upset until the evening.

Losing things sure sucks.

I thought about "restoration" afterwards. A word that is tossed around in my group of friends usually referring to something called the New Exodus which I know very little of and care very little for. But anyways, i started caring about this word "restoration" after I lost my stuff. I thought of how wonderful it would be if these things were returned to me and how happy I would be to find that which I thought was lost for sure.

And then I thought about the sermon the day before and the parables of the lost. Truly how joyful are the heavens when one sinner repents. God and his beloved creation are reunited at that instant. Much like I would like to be with my ipod and DS Lite.

I thought about some other stuff, most of which i've forgotten now, but no matter. All i remember is that they made me sound super pieous and spiritual, maybe like most of my posts, which i'm not.

I guess to make it less spiritual and more real, what i'm really trying to say is this: I would be so happy if i was reunited with my ipod and DS Lite
