I have never been as challenged or learned so much in two classes. I am shocked at my alertness during class time. It is probably one of the first times that I have not fallen asleep during a 2.5 hour lecture. On top of this, I have not been on the internet during class time. Perhaps this is due to the wealth of notes that I must take. Even with previewing the lecture via CD, there are so many notes to take.
After the first lecture my mind was shot. I could barely hold in the mass of information that I had been given. I was relieved to go to chapel where I sat two seats away from my professor and worshipped together. It is a strange yet profound experience to know how vastly far apart you are yet how intimate.
Then I proceeded to the library to study......for 4 hours......on the first day of class......without taking a nap.
I find a perverse kind of pleasure in this.

Back at the library for another few hours.
